Thanks to very good flight connections between Johannesburg, Dar es Salaam, Nairobi and Kigali it is nowadays quite possible to combine a number of sub Saharan countries in one itinerary.
Saying this, if you have two weeks or less, we suggest that you concentrate on one sub-region, i.e. East Africa or Southern Africa. In each sub-region a number of countries can be easily combined, to give you the most complete and diverse itinerary possible.
Favoured combinations are Kenya or Tanzania with Rwanda, South Africa or Namibia with Botswana and Zambia or Zimbabwe, and of course, each of these combinations can be enhanced by a beach destination.
